Vanilla

Vanilla is one part forum software and two parts extensible framework developed by the very talented Mark ‘nav’ O’Sullivan. Not to say that Mark couldn’t have done it all on his own (he certainly could have!), but since it’s inception a well rounded community has formed around the project submitting everything from helping other users, dropping ideas and fixes, to full blow themes and extensions for others to use.

Here you will find a few of my old visual styles I submitted for public use which were originally created for early iterations of Vanilla. Sadly, these styles are no longer compatible with the latest version of Vanilla and I am currently not running an install to keep them maintained. However, if you’re interested in taking over and perpetuating the style or turning it into a full blown theme let me know and throw me some credit.

Dirt & Sky

Dirt and Sky are executed in the same minimal style, but in opposite shades of gray. One rich and dark, the other light with both being accented in bits of red. This style is a complete CSS rewrite from top to bottom which makes it look nothing like the Vanilla one might be used to. Click the thumbnails below for a preview of each.
