Hi, my name is Lech Deregowski, and I enjoy breaking things. Primarily, I’m an independent creative located just outside of Chicago and sometimes can be considered a “jack of all trades”. While my brain stores an immense ammount of information on various technical subjects, that doesn’t make me a “guru” or “master”. So, please give those titles to those that truely deserve them.
By day, if I’m not hacking together html or css for someone else, I’m weaving bits of code together for my own projects; like those found here on this site. At night, I can be found playing hours worth of video games or watching a semi-educational program on the “idiot-box”.
When I have free time, I’m also helping Adriana with Scene 360 to make sure news authors can post their news, or finding ways to improve things. You might also find some helpful Vanilla documentation written by myself and others from within the Lussumo Community.

After being purchased directly through Internic circa 1997 then using the archaic host template request forms, SecondAgenda.com was officially under ownership. From early ‘98 up until late ‘01 it served as a small experimental launchpad and testing vehicle for various art-related projects, used between myself and a handful of friends. Then, the novelty slowly wore off and everyone got real jobs or went on to pursue other things.
With too-little time to manage it all, SecondAgenda then shifted into “stealth mode” along with most of my other projects at the time. All quietly waiting in stasis, only until recently - in 2006 - did SecondAgenda pop back into existance. While behaving oddly at times, it could not have survived without the generous hosting and support from TDH’s Greg Herrick, who was kind enough to give it a home in the first place.
SecondAgenda serves as my personal project site. I’ve been learning about, collecting and creating all kinds of weird and interesting stuff. Now I’m simply indexing all the things worth cataloging before it’s too late.
I’m a geek, so I am in front of a computer working on various things at any given time, day or night. If you can’t reach me, then that means I managed to escape, or else I’m passed out in a coma-like state. If it’s truly an emergency, and you really need to get in touch with me, you can either turn up the emergency “Lech Signal” located on the northern-facing antenna atop the Sears Tower.
Or you can just simply fire off an email to: unattended@gmail.com. Alternatively, if you use Google talk or another client supporting the Jabber protocol, I can be conveniently reached via that same address. You may otherwise be able to find me on AIM as ErrorFourOhFour if you’re into that real-time kind of stuff. And no. I will not “a/s/l” you.
