“For Mein Fraulein” or “For My Lady”. - This little mystery has slowly unfolded over the past few months when a person or persons posted a personal ad under the “missed connections” category over at Craigs List. The messages were all found under listings for different U.S. cities, followed with a short message and VoIP telephone number associated with it’s city. When the number was called, a pre-recorded message played like that of a cold-war era number station. First you hear what has been identified as “A-Ha: Little Black Heart” followed by a repeated string of numbers, with each number spoken by a different voice. A little Spooky, right? more…

Vanilla goes 1.0!

Wow, I managed to sleep through the release entirely! I remember mark telling us “a week”, then this past week just flew by. In any case, Vanilla has hit the big one point oh! So in other words if you’re looking for a switch in forum software, then get Vanilla and see what you’ve been missing.

There’s way too many improvements to point out which is the best, Mark will say the framework and speed improvements. I say, the whole damn thing. Simply because modifying it is a breeze to do if you can cut through the CSS. And an update for those waiting on a dirt & sky update: please be patient I’m working on something extra special which might just blow your mind.
